This meal right here is one of my childhood favorites. Fish in tomato sauce smackalicious dinner hot and spicy, if you haven't tried it, you are missing out!
Here's how I made this Fish In Tomato Sauce Smackalicious Dinner potato dinner:
Fish In Tomato Sauce Smackalicious Dinner Ingredients
Jamaican Tin Mackerel
1 Mackeral In Hot Tomato Sauce
1 Large Tomato
1 Medium Purple Onion
2 Stalks of Spring Onion (Scallion)
2 Tbsp. Crushed Garlic
1/2 Ripe Sweet Pepper
Black Pepper
Italian Blend Seasoning
Fiesta Lime Seasoning
1/2 Tsp. Chili Paste
1 Tbsp. Thai Sweet Chili Sauce
Avocado Oil (about 1/4 Cup)
Instructions: Put a saucepan on the stove and add avocado oil. When the oil gets hot, add Tomato, Onion, Spring Onion, and Garlic and stir fry for about one minute. Do not let them get soft. Then add the powdered seasoning and chili paste. Stir for about 20 seconds and then add the Mackerel. Crush the mackerel, then leave it to stew for about 2 minutes or so on very low heat. Next, add the sweet pepper and sweet chili sauce. Stir for about another minute, then turn off the heat and leave it to simmer for a few minutes, then serve.
Dumplings
2 Cups of Flour (All Purpose)
1/4 Tsp. Salt
3/4 Cup Water (or as needed)
5 Cups Water (add salt if you wish to)
Mix all ingredients together until it has the consistency that you prefer. I prefer it soft. Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough, then use a knife or cutting tool (for food) to cup the dough into squares or your preferred shape.
